When I last spoke with Miguel, he said he might open early this year. Has anyone nailed him down on a date yet? Hamsco?

If Miguels isn't open...where can I crash my tent that is cheap?

I would prefer to climb in the 40's. :) I can handle the cold, but if it is giving a week of it...then we may just take another 4 hours south and giver down there. I guess we can decide when we get there.

thanks for the heads up! Any other info for me?

k, so there is camping but no pizza. Is it still 3$ to camp? and are the shower facilities open?

just curious..

and...of all these spots further south, are there any sport areas? I want a good mix of sport and trad. I don't really want to boulder, but might throw the crashpad in the car anyways.

I'm just hoping for great weather in the RRG!!!

:)

No shower facilities - bathroom outside or down at the gas station/rest stop -

donations strongly encouraged - slip your cash thru the top of the front door at miguels.

are there showers anywhere handy? like at a YMCA or something like that? geess....I don't really want to be a total bum while there. I'd like to shower a couple of times during the week!

But...ahhhh hell...whatever...I really just want to climb!

CCG, if Miguel opens on the 1st you'll be golden. There are showers ($1 token for 5 minutes) and toilets. The atmosphere and food cannot be beat. If you will be there through the weekend and it's not too cold, I'll come down with my little climber.
