Who needs the tripe on TV like "The Surreal Life" when we have "As My Stomach Turns" right here in our own little community?

If his posts on this forum are any indication then the rank of "hero" has been lowered into the sewer. Look for pissed off threads of people getting nasty at each other and almost all of them have J.H. in common. Or how about people threatening to kill people's dogs? Yeah, that's heroic. Or how about someone deliberately trying to stir up shit with the oil people in the Southern Region? Yeah, that's heroic.

I haven't met Joe in person but he sure is a prick here. I would imagine that's a reflection of his personality in real life but prove me wrong, someone. For someone that wants to do business with climbers he sure doesn't put forward a very friendly or intelligent face. Seems he just wants to rub his shit all over the board kind of like a monkey.

Fuck this stupid forum. As long as Dirt is allowed to post this is a HUGE waste of time.

I apologize for interrupting all this personal crap to talk about climbing, but:

Sadly, this whole situation is pretty low on the scale of not-so-swift things to do while climbing. (In other words, there's lots of really dumb stuff happening compared to this)

In reality, it would ruin lot's of peoples' days, not just the folks at Left Flank who would be obligated to drag your broken ass down to the road, but it would contribute to further problems for all climbers. Accidents in North American Mountaineering is full of incidents from exactly this kind of situation - strong climber on 'easy' route doesn't put in much pro, slips/hold breaks and climber falls with serious injuries/death. It happens over and over again. Just imagine how much better the safety stats for climbing would be if this type of accident was basically eliminated. Think about how much stronger our bargaining position would be with land managers if we cut the accident rate in climbing dramatically.
I wouldn't normally skip bolts for fun at a popular area like Left Flank, but if you didn't notice, it's freakin' cold so there aren't newbees at the wall. If you have a problem with someone's style, speak up, but there's no reason I can't enjoy climbing the way I want too. I get away from gyms and cities so I don't have to deal with the burden of other people's rules. Whoever was on Maypop obviously hasn't been to North Carolina where there are 5.10s just for free soloing. That's what I enjoy, it's exciting and memorable. If you have a problem with that, sounds like someone's just jealous they have to clip all the bolts. I've been out of climbing for two years, so I clipped one bolt because I didn't feel comfortable without it. I'm just climbing that way to get my confidence back.

It's good to hear that you were thinking the situation through.

That said, you aren't soloing if there's anyone at the base to scrape up the pieces.

Spuzo and I have decided that what you need is a good "Deep Dickin'!!!" She has agreed to hold you down while I probe your guts with my "sport rack". trust me.....you will surely come to know!!!
First, I don't know LLR and I'm not defending her, but dude you are threatening rape here. My class on Law and Order in Cyberspace says you can be held accountable for this for sure.

I like you Dirt, but don't cross the line. This is sick and wrong.

Suggestion: whoever ignores the other and never acknowledges any acrimonious statements wins.

dirt has been banned for this threat, and I'm moving this topic to the trash pile where it pretty much always belonged.
