What the fuck....Shannon said that climbing in the S/R was not restricted, just advised against. Today Gretchen posted that the S/R wasn't open to climbing....My question all along has been. "Has something changed? Are we, or are we not allowed to climb in the S/R."

As for taking notes. WTF. More obscure threats from the CC hiarchy. All you gotta do is say yes or no. Now you threaten m. For asking a question.

I AM THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ. DO AS I SAY OR I WILL ARREST YOU FOR TRESSPASSING ON CC LAND..........I'm not a threat here. Just answer the question....I swear on my life that if permission has been recinded on the Purchase, I'll not climb there. Just tell me if it has been. Its a simple question........ Right back at ya there Gretchen..

Joe, this issue is too complex for you to grasp. Here's the simple version: "For now, Joe, you (I mean "you personally") do not have permission to climb on the Murray Property tract. We will advise you in the future if anything changes."

For the rest of the group that can grasp it, no further explanation is needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I want to add that the RRGCC banning a climber is complete and utter bullshit. If you are going to ban climbers because they have a different opinion than you do then this is not a climber's organization. I am shocked and appalled that John and Gretchen would threaten to ban a climber OR that they have the power to do so. He has posted on a web site. There are others who have done a lot more damage with less authority. For example running off donors and volunteers.

Why do I have to be segregated. Please explain to me why I am being segregated from the rest of the climbers? Is it because I am the only one with enough ass to ask the questions that The CC so desperatly doesn't want to answer? For what ever reason?
I'm a bright boyJohnny, I can grasp subtlties and nuances that border on the inane.....but, when I am given conflicting information. A little clarification is in order. Do you not agree.

So barring me. Are climbers forbidden from climbing in the S/R? My original question has still not been answered. So If you please.

Please clarify if it is just an advisory or if the CC has recinded permission to climb there?

Dirt has posted his formal request for clarification on the RRGCC website. So I request that we all lay off and wait for a formal response. Although I do not agree with Dirt's attitude or tactics, I do agree he has a legitimate question that deserves a formal response from the Coalition.

I think dirt deserves a public apology from johnny and gretchen on behalf of the rrgcc.

i kind of thought the rrgcc would want all the support they can get now that the property is theirs.

I'll jump in here. This is why I never joined the coalition. I understand why the coalition would attempt to "ban" dirt. It's completely understandable after his continued inflamation of topics. But, here's the burn, I don't think that anyone should have the authority to ban a climber. If the property actually belongs to the climbing community, then dirt should not be banned. If you guys (everyone) would just stop responding it would have to go away. So, when the little troll alarm goes off in your head, just ignore it and it will go away. I must say, that Gretchen's tone sounds alarmingly inappropriate. "I, as President" sounds like another authoritarian issuing a decree. The rock in the southern region is still going to be there several hundred years from now after the silly oil companies and coalitions are completely forgotten. I hope the decrees on banning certain climbers are just knee-jerk reactions resulting from anger and frustration. If you're instating a policy like that because someone is pushing your buttons then that is completely uncool.
I've had just about enough of this shit.
