I would like to take this oportunity to re-announce my candidacy for the CAC. I believe that a large silent majority of members and non-members alike would like to have more of a say and a response from their leaders. People are badgered and threatened into silence by this organization. If you vote for me to be on the CAC. I will adopt a more "open" attitude. I will not threaten or badger you into silence and I will do my best to disclose (when prudent) information about what we are doing. Thank you . Your support will be greatly appreciated!!

Dirt, good luck, this is quite similar to the sitaution at Walmart we all encounter when we buy toilet paper, you pick it out, you go pay for it, then you can't wipe your ass with it because, well, because

dirt,
why does it matter to you? it seems to me that either way you will do whatever the fuck you want...it doesn't appear, from what you write, that you are willing to have patience and wait for all the formalities to be clarified and cemented with those who have an economic stake in this whole scenario...the murrays. charmane, and rrgcc, all have a financial stake in this. you, as an individual, do not.

like it has already been said...why can't you climb at the other 85% of the red that has no issues UNTIL this is resolved? seems a few more months of courtesy for the work the rrgcc is doing would go alot further than egging on an oil worker...

look beyond yourself on this one, and climb elsewhere....
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

How many times are you gonna beat this dead horse!!!

If you want to be a help then quit asking the same questions over and over, and stay off the Murray prop. till all the issues are worked out.

If you want to be a problem, keep on doing what your doing, and make it harder for the RRGCC to get the legal issues sorted out.

Jeez. Like I said, try to look past the end of your nose and see how your actions affect others, either directly or indirectly. You are typifying what's wrong with America in general these days. Everyone has adopted the "I am going to get what I want, while putting forth as little effort as possible, and I don't give a damn about who I have to run over to get it". I suppose in this age of convenience that's a very easy thing to do, but just because you have the right to do something, it doesn't mean it's right to do it. Shall we take the spray painting incident as an example? In your mind you thought, "Hey, it would be so much easier to find the OC and Arena if we just had signs, so I will just paint it ON THE TREES IN BRIGHT ORANGE PAINT. Then everyone will be happy!" In the real world however, the graffiti was quite distasteful, out of place, and generally looked like hell. You didn't see that though did you? All you saw was "Hey, we have a cool new sign, now everyone can find the place! Yay Joe!"

Mj
...quitting drinking is kinda like washing your hands after you take a crap...why start now?

Dirt, you have been provided with all the answers. The problem that I see is you just don't like the options at this point.

Stop wasting my time and everyone elses. You are obviously self-important and feel that it is OK to jeopardize all of the hard work that many of the climbing community have contributed to the purchase of said land. Sounds to me that you are not only a loose canon but you are purposefully trying to instigate action from the oil Co. Your sole actions are obviously not representative of the whole climbing community and will be well noted.

I, as the President of the Board of the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition, am giving you a warning Joe. The only warning. Don't push it further or you will be asked to refrain from climbing on the Murray Property on a permant basis. I will not have you endanger all of the efforts that have provided you with the opportunity to enjoy the privilege of rock climbing in the Red River Gorge, KY.
Just genuinely disengenuous.
