ABS Bouldering Comp this Saturday

Rocksport Climbing Center will be hosting the ABS Bouldering Comp this Saturday, January 24th, 2004.

Take I-64 to the Blankenbaker Parkway exit and head south. Go to the 3rd stop light which is at the intersection of Blankenbaker and Plantside. Turn Right. Go through 1 stop sign and Rocksport will be the next building on your right at the top of the hill.

So my friend called them to see how much the entrance fee was...and the guy on the end of the phone said, "There's a comp on the 24th??" "I wouln't know how much it was."

Registration starts at 11:00
Competition starts at 12:00

Cost $35.00

The categories are Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner

Mens and Womens

Depending upon the number of youth that show up, there will be a Youth Boys and Youth Girls. The age on this is 12 and under.

We will have membership information on the Red River Gorge Climbers Coalition.

There will also be additional informtion about the Climb and Paddle Day being held on February 21st.

You must also be an ABS member to enter an ABS comp. New rule this year. I'm 99.9% sure you can register at the comp. Fee is an additional $10. It might be already figured into the fee GWG gave...

that sucks...i wanna climb at comps to have fun...not be ranked
