Escape: The crash pad song

Post by Wes »

I was tired of my crashpad
we'd been together too long
like a one hour recording of a favorite song
So while it lay there sleeping,
I read the BBS while drunk;
and in the personal forum,
there was this post I read.

If you like Pure climbing
and sending in the rain,
If you're into highballs,
if you have half a brain.
If you like climbing at midnight,
among the boulders of the hp40,
then I'm the pad that you've looked for,
write to me and escape.

I didn't think about my pad,
I know that sounds kinda mean.
well me and my old pad,
had fallen into that same old dull routine.
So I wrote to the forum,
took out a personal post,
and though I'm nobody's poet,
I thought it wasn't half bad.

Yes, I like Pure climbing,
and sending in the rain,
I'm not much into health food,
I am into bourbon and ale8.
I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon,
and cut through all this red tape,
at a climbing gym called lexington rocks,
and we'll plan our escape.

So I waited with high hopes,
and she walked in the place.
I knew her carpet in an instant,
I knew the curve of her hip belt.
It was my own lovely pad,
and she said, "Aw, it's you!"
and we laughed for a moment,
and I said, "I never knew..."

That you liked Pure climbing,
and sending in the rain,
and the feel of the sandstone,
and the taste of bourbon and ale8.
If you like climbing at midnight,
in the boulders of the hp40,
your the pad I've looked for,
come with me and escape.

If you like Pure climbing
and sending in the rain,
If you're into highballs,
if you have half a brain.
If you like climbing at midnight,
in the boulders of hp40,
then I'm the pad that you've looked for,
write to me and escape.

nice to know there are others up at this hour - fantasizing about their crash pads - oh wait, I am the only one signed on to the board right now.... never mind.

Nice work Wes

Hey Wes, you should cut a hole in your crash pad and stick some liver in it. Then you can really Wes hump it at night.
