What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Since we haven't seen this thread in a while........

New mac with big harddrive has allowed me to rip about 80 more cd's I hadn't had on the iPod yet.

I've been burning up Over the Rhine's new one, Classic Big Brother & The Holding Company/Janis, some cool Miles from Tokyo in 73, Beanland, Alison Brown Quintet, Shawn Colvin, and Robert Earl Keen. Then there's the ever present Panic and Grisman.

Too many CFM passing through too small a grille?

Still, beats listening to 60 Hz electrical hum.

Just got a 15 GB iPod, as my rio nitius doesn't do AAC. Pretty cool so far, just filled it up. I will never, ever buy another MP3 player that is not firewire - took less then 10 minutes to sync up 15 GB, compared with the couple hours plus that it would have taken with usb 1.1 (not sure about 2.0).

Anyway, am I one of the cool kids yet?

Wes you'd be cool if you had a one that played ogg.

Getting closer, but you still need to develop a taste for Jazz and Bluegrass. Eventually that's gonna happen whether you like it or not, if only through osmosis.
