Misty Mountain Crash Pad for sale
Yup Yas, I don't plan on any "PURE" climbing with this pad. It's just so I can set it up like a couch near the base of Shaggy and gaze up at this amazing route with wide-eyed-wonder. I will get up occasionally to fondle shaggys crumbly bottom holds, it's sandy crux beneath it's choss ridden roof, then I will launch into the land of slippery lichen above the roof and breathe in the dirt that no amount of evil brushing could ever scar. But mostly I will just stay near Shaggy, watching as others discover the best route in the Southern Region (and possibly the world). I will listen as they talk dirty to Shaggy, using words of love usually reserved for the bedroom. I will sit back and enjoy from the comfort of my new crash pad.
The worst part about Shaggy is that routes like this are few and far between in the RRG, yet the quality of rock needed for such a stellar line exists everywhere in the gorge. Why are not more people bolting such obvious lines of near perfection? WHY??
Ahh well, I guess if you have done a route like Shaggy, why even bother to climb anything else?
I'm looking at the pad right now by the way... it was quite nice to only have a 3 minute drive to pick it up! ;-p
THANKS CHRIS!!
