holiday gifts

Post by Andrew »

What did everyone get for their respective holidays?

I got a sterling marathon 70m, 10mm, bi-patern rope, and a bunch of carabiners, and a nice pink tricam, and some new basketball shoes. I still haven't had christmas with my family yet. Maybe tonight.

A book on yoga, and $$ for the T-Wall vacation. :)

Sounds like you had a pretty nice Christmas, Andrew! Congrats!

Well no climbing gear this year. Don't really need anything outside of a pair of shoes and I am waiting on those. My In-laws got me a ton of stuff but the best was a beautiful pair of earring.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

I'm with longlegs - they think it's "cute" but don't really get it yet. I can usually count on them for camping equipment though....but this year - yeah, I got a DirtDevil Stick Broom thing....they must think I need to clean my apartment.

Oh - but my bro got me a sweet STRESS PILLOW...it's got to be the coolest thing ever. It's this pillow made out of somekind of crazy material and you just can't stop touching it and squishing it. I nearly bit my mother's hand when she tried to use it! I think he got it at a Brookstone store...very interesting gift.

And I got a deck of Elvis playing cards, squirt gun and some other stuff....my family has a strange sense of humour.

OK, the climbing stuff was a #2 HB Quadcam & 10 biners. I too got a yoga book, "American Yoga", signed by my guru Lilias Folan. Got a DVD called "Kundun" about the life of the Dalai Lama directed by Martin Scorsese. And of course some clothes. Oh, I failed to mention that I got a mixed six-pack of winter brews from my bro.

The scrap wood is gonna make a nice fire this weekend if anyone else is statying at Miguels's.
