You young bouldering punks... that is Fred Beckey. Only one of the greatest climbers of all time (e.g. Put up more first accents than anyone in America). You couldn't break that guys hip with a number 10 hex knumbchucked to a wall hammer.

I'll be lucky to be able to climb up onto the toilet without the aid of a rope and harness at that age.

Although, I had a rather hearty grandmother who was using chainsaws and other hi-powered tools in the insane Georgia heat of August WELL into her 80s. So maybe I have genetics on my side.

I'm gonna learn to aid climb in a wheel chair....
that would be freaking awsome!!!

Oh no... I just let my idea out... now someone else will do it first!?!? Damn

I guess I'll just have to resort to my unique idea of free soloing wearing only depends.... and im gonna do it next weekend.

I doubt that I'll be TRing 10s in my 80s, but there's tons of great easy stuff out there like the Third Flatiron in Boulder to be doing for decades!
