hahaha I forgot what a bitch I can be, but this wanker deserved it!
And yeah those 'cam dots' are a total gimmick. Jeez, really, if you've climbed in 1000's of routes in 5 or 6 states and need paint by numbers for cam placements, you may want to beat yourself over the head with a #5 camalot until the irony sinks in. Hint: it's the really big BD cam.

I really like the idea of the dots. I never really had any fucking idea if my placements were good or not. Is there any way though to tell from the dots whether or not the cams are placed upside down? That's a problem that I keep having.
Also, I wonder if they will get some sort of color-coding for their curved nuts. This would really help me evaluate a nut placement as well. Again though, I think there should be a red mark on the bottom or something so that you can tell if it is placed upside down. But, on the other hand, if you are opposing nuts then you might want one upside down. Now I'm even more confused. It seems like the best thing really would be if we could just bolt all of these cracks so that everybody has access to them and not just people who understand the color coding system on metolius gear.

What I'm going to do when I get all my new cams is paint happy faces on them, that way, when they're placed the wrong way, the happy face will turn sad, and I in turn will be sad, because my cam will be sad, and I will know that the only way to overcome my sadness will be to place my cam correctly, and then I will, and then the world will be a happy place again, full of smiling cams.
