Or, you could be at Hueco like me, bouldering in the sun in a t-shirt until January. Hopefully, my farmers tan will last until springtime in KY.

Yep, around the first week or so. Might stop in HP or NC on the way back to help break up the ride.

That whole crew of people that he was with was super cool, and super strong.

I love spring and can't wait for it to get here.

But for now I'm just going to enjoy winter and the things that come with it.

Such as: skiing and snowboarding, playing in the snow, sleeping more than usual, more time to relax and read, and so on.

I find that the more I wish for it to be warm again, the more sad and depressed I get because it's not.

I'm not necessarily missing the warmer weather, I just hate going and returning to and from work in the dark. I'm looking forward to the longer daylight hours.

I like having the passing of the seasons where there are distinct characteristics of each.

I guess I'm glad it's Friday and I get to spend the entire weekend with my lovely Bride. :D

Wes, I hope you have a great trip, I can't image how much fun your having, its 34 degrees here rainy and grey, at least I can watch Potter do the crack house run on DVD.

Splitting wood, hunting squirrels, rabbit stew. Grouse. Pheasant.

Cold weather is just a matter of dressing properly.
(1) Base layer of Thermal underwear
(2) Polyproplene liner inside of pants/jacket.
(3) Quick wick pants
(4) gore-tex outer layer

Fun fun fun
