This BBS is the result of a lot of money and time. SCIN trusts his moderators to moderate what they see is appropriate. How do you think it makes him feel when someone questions all that he and others have worked so hard to establish? It's like you're coming into his house, throwing your feet up on his coffee table when he asked you not to, and complaining about it because others allow you to do that in their home. It's immature and selfish.

I assure you i mean no offense, and i think originally i had thought that the things that were posted were so obviously meant as jokes it wouldnt have offended and in my defence i have never been censored by a message board so i was a bit taken-a-back by the whole process. Hence this post original thread. and i also didnt mean for it to ONLY be about MY post i was hopeing for a blanket type coverage. This is the forum in which we are to post questions and thoughts on the website, i didnt mean to draw so much attention to that particular post. rather just censoring in general I stated how other message boards had rated posts or ways to flag something if someone was offended. and I was not the one who got the warning ( a warning was recieved by one of my friends whos post was deleted) so i had no idea on how all of this worked. So no explination was given at the time of the deletion in question. Yasmeen has been kind enough to explain these matters in a simple post and i am sorry for causing any ill-will towards myslef or my friends. Now that i am aware of the lines we are not to cross, and the ways the moderators work this particular site i think we can all go on our merry ways without much more bad blood.
so once again... i am very greatful for this site and i cannot stress enough how very sorry i am if any of the comments posted on that particular thread were found offensive ( or stirred any emotional trauma) by anyone.

SCIB's board is SCIB's board so everyone needs to respect the authority. Moderators (and posters) have to take into account the audience and this includes plenty of lurkers you never hear from. If you get censored, adapt to the rules and be a more mature poster in the future. The Brats on this board are as generous as they should be and IMNSHO do a hell of a job.

Sandy, Simply because you sent garage climber a pm doesnt mean that I or any of my other friends were told anything... as i stated above I was not aware of what exactly happened. And it seems to me that either all of the moderators are so used to being fucked with or questioned they immediately jump to the conclusion that any question is that of act or authority rather than simply JUST a question OR you all just like to rant and go on and on with threats of kicking people off the boards. Either way is fine with me. The simple fact is that i gave a suggestion and asked a question.. the question was answered.. i was happy with that answer. The post refering to me not knowing what happened, i did not mean that No explanation was given at all... i meant it wasnt given to me. ( as i did not see garage climber until a few days later) at which time he did explain it all to me as well so everybody JOB WELL DONE
since i am positive this will have a string of burns after it telling me how whiney i am and how awsome everybody here is and how tough and scary you all can be when provoked. let me assure you that i am happy the site exists and i do enjoy the forum, it is very gracious of people to put forth time and energy to give selflessly this site for all who post. I am very very very sorry that anything i have ever posted has been taken wrongly or in a manner that seems to provoke any attacks whatsoever. i have simply been trying to explain my orignal thoughts, confusion, appology, and content. ok seriously... does anyone really feel that this violent talk is neccesary? The title of the thread is questions, suggestions, ect... my thought is that if you dont want any constructive critisisms(which he was providing very respectively) Then dont have a thread entitled questions, suggestions, ect. i hate to not kiss scin's ass like the rest of the people here, although i am really greatful as well for the site i think it is awsome and very resourceful. but with that said i think it is common sense to provide feedback and suggestions in a thread that is designated to that.

I type these long novels about how the politics at scin's house just aren't up to par with what I feel they should be. I wonder if people really read all the bullshit I write? I think that climbers should be a bunch of peaceful hippies and lay around and stroke each other's stomachs with feathers in a bed of purple lilacs and red roses while I stand in front of them in a white robe holding a long gold feathered pen and let my beautiful words flow across the wonderful white pulp that is so privileged to hold my wonderful words. I will stand at the gate of the peaceful climber's community and dream of my bright new 5.10 Summits and laugh in the wilderness with glee as I envision everyone in their underwear while standing upside down on my ceiling like a ballet dancer from the planet barney. You will read my novels like that of captain pirate on the edge of the sea holding a big mug of root beer. AHOY!
