New and looking

Post by spuzo »

hello all! I am new to the area that is Cincinnati and looking for a climbing partner.
I am pretty new to climbing as well. I go out to RockQuest now. Haven't been outside yet but am reminded everyday at work of the wonder that is Red River Gorge, so looking forward to going there!
I am a good climber but looking to get some more belay practice in.
IM me or email if you are interested in helping me out!

Not sure you will get alot of "takers" volunteering to let you practice your belaying on them.
Hang around the board for awhile and get to know folks, and let us get to know you.I'm sure you will find some folks.
Theresa and I are from the Cincy area, but only go to RQ when it is a looooong, cold winter.

I cant believe no one has asked this yet but do you hvae a set of tits or that thing that hangs between your legs? If you have a set of tits I bet 50% of the people on this board will hook up with you and climb. but if not then you should probably hang around the gyms in cincy more andmeet people. Go and check out climb time, i find it is more laid back there and generally seem to be more fiendly there. RQ to me just blows ass. No offense to all you that i know and climb with that do train at RQ

Oh and another thing i dont live in cincy and dont climb there alot either, but do take my advice on this

allah,

To answer your beautifully worded questions - I've got a nice rack - there, think that will help? Thanks for the advice. Guess I don't have to ask what's hangin between your legs.
RQ has been good to me thus far - I was told ClimbTime was closed (not by someone at RQ, either) but I will check it out too.

Jeff,

Yeah - I figured that might dissuade some people, but hey - at least I'm honest. Don't want someone to volunteer to climb with false hopes of luxurious belaying - I'm not terrible, but want more practice.
