invalid session

Post by tomdarch »

I was just distracted by work (silly, I know) while composing a posting. When I came back I tweaked it a bit and hit 'submit'. I hadn't realized that I had been away for so long and got an 'invalid session' error. I know that sessions need to have time limits to be efficient on the server, but when a user gets that error, they've lost what they've typed ('back' on the browser won't get you back what you were typing.)

Would it be possible to spit back the raw text of what was submitted below the 'invalid session' error message so that the user could copy and paste it in a new posting on the thread?

I always copy everything I type before hitting submit. That way if I get the invalid massage all I have to do is paste my message and try submitting again.

When I realize that I've run the clock I'll do that, but all too often, I are dumb.

Hey man, why don't we get together... hike to the top of Raven rock... and launch our pc's off the top? Sounds like fun to me.
