I'm wanting to check out the Gorge this weekend, anyone interested in showing a Gorge climbing newbie around. I've only been climbing for 7 months so I'm only comfortable leading up to 5.8, but I'm fine with TRing a few levels above that. Just started Trad, so leading 5.5/5.6 Trad is fine, but willing to 2nd on anything above that.
I've hiked all over the Gorge before I started climbing, but just haven't been able to make a climbing trip down there since I started.
I see Thu & Fri, but need partner this weekend 1st and 2
I've been to Jackson Falls several times now and that place doesn't inspire me to climb like I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool place, it's just different.
My regular crag is Kings Bluff in Clarksville, TN. That place is great and has been key to helping me learn the sport.
I've just been really antsy to hit the RRG and this weekend's weather looks absolutely perfect.

Well, no details and no other offers.... sooo.... no RRG trip. Ended up climbing at Drapers a few hours Friday then Kings for Saturday and Sunday. Scott and Paul were at Kings working out a new route on the face just left of the Chimney Sweep cracks.
Andy, we need to find you a different job so your weekends are free.
