Hunting seasons is on, the thing to do would be to catch them and put antler hats on their heads and turn them loose back in the woods. They'll go home strapped to someone's fender.

can't we just strip them, tie them to a near by gate, then torture them with climbing gear, back packs, and CDs, then leave them for the oil company and the Sheriff to deal with.

Wakeup dumbass that's exactly what they did when there were breakins at pocket wall a few years ago.

I'm for shoving a #6 WC up their collective ass. It would give the term "flared crack" new meaning.
I've had just about enough of this shit.

Yeah, they were hot on it this spring too. When everything was getting broken into a Roadside.......right.

I've seen the cops not come to shootings at roadside. They don't give a shit about a bunch of out-of-towners and there hippy-ass rock climbing gear. They're not going to arrest anyone for two reasons. (1) the crack/crank-head that they arrest may not be able to vote but his/her family does. (2) If they did arrest someone would the victim come all the way from, let's say Chicago or better yet Canada to testify in court? I think not. Hence, a waste of time at best and detrimental to their career at worst. It's loose, loose for the cops.

gretchen I believe that I'm older than you. If not, I certainly don't deserve to be talked down to.

Well then don't sistah me.

In the past when other breakins occurred at Roadside the police assisted with that crack down, but as usual, it took time to do.

What shootings at Roadside?

Well, there was a shooting at raodside last year about this time. The cops were called and came. Said it wasn't their jurisdiction. Left the man at roadside with his gun, drunk and didn't give a flying f*** about the out-of-towners. The climbers came to Miguels 3:00 in the morning and set up camp.

FYI the cops don't assist at roadside. never have. Thereis only one cop that even cares and he is a Ranger. Not an elected/appointed cop. The rest wouldn't care if the rednecks stacked bodies ten feet high. You don't believe me ask Susan or Miguel about it. They'll tell you all about the b/s that goes on in hell's half acre.

Well then if that is the case then there certainly is opportunity to develop a relationship with the local law enforcement and work together to resolve the current situation. A little respect might help our cause and going a long way. I can bring this up at the next RRGCC Board meeting and see if we can get it into our Strategic Pplanning. Of course we will need a point guard willing to take up the cause and spear head the effort. Any takers?

You don't get it. All the meetings in the world are not going to make the local police departments do anything against their constituancy. They'd be stupid to do so. They might Tell you they are going to do something but they never will. You are out-of-towners.
