Beautiful weekend in the gorge! Was passing by the Martin's Fork parking area (the parking for left flank and military) around 6:30pm. Cars were lining the road leading back to the parking area and trailhead, looked like it was pretty busy. No surprise there. One car stood out though...
This was spitting distance from the parking lot. I don't recall if there are signs that prohibit parking on the road, so maybe this is totally fine? I see people park on the dirt in front of the trail all the time. I dont know what the rules for that kind of thing are, maybe someone else does, but this just seems a bit unsafe and kind of rattled me on my drive home.

Not uncommon at this popular hiking trailhead. Few months ago, Forest Service towed some cars for this and made a Facebook post about it.
