From now on I'll bolt my routes on lead, naked, drunk and with a hand drill by the light of the silvery moon. If you don't trust my lines or my ability then don't climb them.

I for one, am one of the most sketched out people that you will meet about equipment. If you've climbed with me then you'd know this. If I put up a route you can be gauranteed that it has bomber gear and good stances.

Just because you're scared doesn't mean you're competent.

Actually placing a safe bolt is pretty easy - I would say a 10 year old could do it with ten minutes teaching. The little things that make a route better would be the things you might miss if you haven't been climbing a bunch. Like how a draw hangs from the bolt, clipping stances, safe falls, etc. I am not saying anyone should wait to bolt untill they have been climbing for X number of years, as there are plenty of unsafe and poorly bolted routes in the red put up by people that should have know better, but where stoned or not paying attention when they broke out the drill.

I don't remember posting a poll! I blame the tequila!! So if you were watching, why didn't you join in and help?

I really thought that 'farm animal' I was bolting with was Horatio! Perhaps my head isn't on straight right now or perhaps I just need to spend a little more time with experienced bolters? I hear you're a good bolter, Muao Dib. Will you bolt with me? Should you post a poll first, in order to help make your decision?

It's Friday today??

Yeah, I'm sure it was the tequila. I didn't join b/c as you were post poll, I got confused b/c the 'farm animal' didn't appear to be action. Plus the animal kept yelling " I love it when hack s me"

Then, you seemed mad at this animals reply - also frightening me. But, I was comforted when you forgave him and said "Ho, you are such a dog "

It was rather soap opera like and pretty entertaining to watch!
