is anyone willing to risk public acknowledgement of a relationship with the current operators of 'Charmane Oil county road' and either reject or consider the profitability of a business on this road providing this service (among others, i'd imagine)?
the current imagery available on-line does not indicate prohibitive use. the property and tax records are not accessible but by walk-in, or phone call (which is more than i can bear)
training is for people who care, i have a job.

Perhaps instead of building a really nice throne in the parking lot, promote the use of wag-bags at the cliff and provide a human waste collection dumpster at the trail head - much the same setup as at major mountaineering venues. People may just use the bags if they don't have to haul them home. And, I doubt the dumpster will as big a target for vandalism as a pit toilet.

I don't think you will ever hit 100% compliance with any method. Some may use a pit toilet before leaving the parking lot, but couldn't be bothered to walk 5 minutes back down from the cliff to access it later in the day. People willing to use a bag are already committing themselves to packing it out. You just don't want them leaving it in the parking lot. And then, there will always be those that choose to shit under the cliff line and leave it exposed for all to marvel.

I disagree that people that use a wagbag has all ready committed to carrying it out. I have found a lot of them in the Sierra, red rocks, the Winds. These are placed where they supply them, but many don't carry them out. But, I am against the building of shitters.
