FWIW, I really like these carabiners. They are small and rarely get side-loaded because of the shape. The twist-lock is easily operated single-handedly. The hook is excellent for lowering a follower from the top, and can also be used for extra friction in a traditional ground TR belay. The cons include not being able to rotate the carabiner due to the shape, having the clip the belay loop and device slightly differently (due to not being able to spin it), and very rarely catching the thumb (or other gear) on the hook while belaying. Too bad I don't need one right now.
