*Update* Several weeks ago we reached our fundraising goal! Huge thanks to all those who donated, we truly have a great community here. A couple spots are still open if you wish to help out patching old holes and doing some grunt work. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0449a ... f49-rebolt

Please be respectful of route closures on the day of Sunday, August 30th as we complete the work. If you wish to avoid these crags altogether the following walls will be affected, Phantasia wall, Drive-By, Bob Marley, Roadside, The Zoo, Chica Bonita, The Gallery, Military, and the Dark Side.

As always if you see a bad bolt please report it to http://badbolts.com/

That's great! Can we makes sure all bolts are no more than 7 feet apart?

How about bolting some of those trad lines as well. I hate dragging gear out to the crag. So heavy.

Bolt spacing will be kept as placed by the FA unless it is clear after careful consideration that retro-bolting (moving bolt locations) would significantly reduce risk in the event of a fall. Example, the going to chains on Primus Noctum would keep the run out as the fall is clean and it is a big part of what makes that route memorable. If you have a specific concern with bolt spacing on a route, make sure to comment on the online guide and it will get back to us. Alternatively you can message Dr Rockso, who is currently heading up the re-bolting efforts.

Thanks Climb2core. I agree with that assessment. I was making a joke, but good clarification on what you all are doing, since it might be a concern of some.

*Update*
Rebolt the Red Day yesterday was a huge success. All told, 6 teams replaced 144 bolts, on 24 routes, at 9 different crags. Stainless Steel Climb Tech Glue-ins were used for all rebolting. I would like to send out a huge thank you out to all those who donated their money and time and special thank you to the Fixed Gear Initiative, Climb Tech, and to all the developers and volunteers who made this happen on Sunday.

If you are interested in helping out with future rebolting efforts or supporting the use of stainless for future development you can donate to the Fixed Gear Initiative using the following paypal link https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?c ... ZTKYMK2LCC

Glad to see Yadda Yadda Yadda made the list. I cleaned it earlier this summer and it's anchor was a jumbled mess.

ETA: Should have also said thanks and good work!
