Biffy Bag for solid waste is the best bag out there. The others are a bit too thin and smell after a short time. Make wag bags a requirement to enter. Most people end up using them if they have them. The problem then becomes finding a few bags here and there. I saw a couple on trails out west. People claim they leave them to pick them up on their way out.

There is a new system from out of Canada that's being tested in a few areas out west. Its a conveyor system that separates solid from liquid waste and composts the solid and drains the liquid. I've been in contact with some folks that are using them and are waiting to hear how they do this year out west. Should they prove effective in that environment then we may explore some in our area as well. I think base cost for the unit is 5k but only requires maintenance 1 time a years and does not need pumping or any other service otherwise. It is a very well known fact that native Canadian aka NaCans, shit small rectangular turds suitable for immediate composting. I once sat in a stall adjacent to a NaCan and you could hear the universal normal fart sound following the initial grunt, then I heard the plink, plink sound for five or ten minutes, as the NaCan shit-blocks hit the porcelain. I'd say just shit at the rest stop or at the lodge. Crapping turds for immediate composting defeats the laws of nature that clearly state that turds must have a sort of taper in order to keep your ass from slamming shut and thus causing harm to the shitter. Canadians routinely violate the laws of nature.

If Muir can have them (pit toilets) I'm not sure why they wouldn't be allowed at Roadside. Muir is Wolfe County too, right?

And I think you/we could do a go fund me or something like that to raise the money. There's no reason people shouldn't donate to that cause. It would make Roadside even better.
