Rainy Day Trad

Post by Catawaba »

Looking for some decent rainy day trad ideas with Dip Wall closed. Saw Hens Nest is supposed to be ok in the rain. Any other suggestions?

i've seen Doppler Effect stay dry after days of heavy rain and if you're in the area No Return is moderately well sheltered.

How far is the road closed from the trailhead to Dip wall? I assume you can just park in a pull off and hike the road?

A bit over a mile and half on 9b. Park at the gate at Pistol Ridge... hopefully the road will be reopened soon.

We've been riding bikes back there. Takes about ten minutes.
