Biked out to see the restoration project this evening. It's 3 miles from the gate to the Lumpy/Junkyard trailhead. Dip Wall is just before that.
Currently the Dip Wall approach trail along the creek is non-existent at this point.
Wondering if there is any plan within the project to restore this access trail? The project could seriously inhibit access.

Doubtful as that trail was an "unofficial" user trail...

That's what I'm thinking. Now would be the time to try and get at least the first section legitimately built since they've presumably done all of the studies they need to do for this restoration project. If it only got us to the base of the hill the rest is mostly on old logging roads anyway.

Yes. Bring I bike and you can get out there pretty easy though.
