internet access

Post by andy_c »

I'm planning a week and a half trip, and hoping to do some work while I'm there- I just need internet access. Anyone have beta on a reliable internet connection (that can do video calls)?

Thanks!

In general internet access is slow in the area. People around here think broadband means the Go-Gos.

The rockhouse has pretty fast internet, but the restaurant might be a little noisy for video calls. The wifi at the Stanton library is decent.

Land of Arches, Lago Linda, or Beattyville library. Good luck.

I have used skype from Miguels before without much issue. You could probably set your tent up close enough to get a good signal if you need to be in uh privacy to do your video thing.

Thanks for the info!

Looks like libraries may be the best. Is the wifi at Miguel's ok?
