MV Accident in AAC Report

Post by Josephine »

In the most recent AAC Accident Report, there was an accident in Muir Valley on Oct 6, 2013 where a climber fell and hit a tree and sustained serious injuries.

What was the name of the route?

i think this is a great question but so few people ever have the chance to think about what a wall or section of crag offers as compared to a few gaps. if approaching and developing an untouched wall wouldn't one want to first realize the most direct lines and wouldn't this represent the most aesthetic? i mean, obviously one could take the 12 wall at military and loop around to cover all sorts of obscure climbing 'problems' (much like thought experiments?)

Melancholy Mechanics

Guy had a bad catch and hit a stump on the ground not a tree in the air. Glad he healed up ok.
