Home wall

Post by clif »

I just got some good luck and stumbled across pictures of a wall built in Richmond, Ky. by Rene and Margarite (-a?), whom I think I've also been lucky enough to run into around the Red, and were remarkably friendly.

One of the most beautifully designed and thoughtfully constructed walls I've seen, so THANK YOU for sharing and allowing those pictures to be posted. Motivation!!

They're really great people! Can you post pictures of the wall they designed?

the direct link is:

i hadn't followed all the threads over the years at other climbing sites like roxkxlmibing.xom and all/most of the links in old threads were dead. i suppose anyone who has much experience building or engineering takes all the questions about structural loads and weight bearing walls in stride, but seeing how to tie together the anchors to an efficient face board frame with compound angles can be confusing to the novice, and i'm worried about relying too much on the old beams of my house.
