Road condition PMRP?

Post by Climbike1 »

Hello,
I would like to know what are the road conditions in PMRP (main gravel hill, drive-by, sore-hell main parking (road and final hill) and solar collector).
Thank you for your help!

Need AWD, clearance or neither of them? We'll be there Friday for 10 days.

If you have to ask, you're not ready to tackle the Lode hill. I will, however, point you to some great climbing at Roadside. It's been pretty dead there recently so there are no lines!

Lode hill is fine and passable in a 2wd car if you know how to drive, and getting to drive by is fine after that.

The final hill down into sore heel lot is pretty rough and is no longer being maintained I believe. However there is a huge parking lot on your left where the road splits going to either drive by or sore heel. Park there and take the hiking trail 100 yards up the road into sore heel, its just as quick as driving back to sore heel.

Thanks for your real reply.
On the other hand, I wish I could climb again at Roadside...
