Could a coalition figurehead or any one with knowledge of the topic give us lay folks a year end cap of the condition of the purchases and what the immediate and foreseeable needs and goals of the Coalition are? Nothing overly specific or heady just a what's up currently?

We're going to have an open meeting on March 8th to discuss the RRGCC's needs and goals - everyone is welcome, and we'll post details such as time and location closer to the date. The condition of the land is as follows:

PMRP: Paid off, Flat Holler parking lot construction completed.
MFRP: First year's mortgage payment met, initial parking lot construction completed.

How about a DBNF update? Any progress towards the development of a climbing management plan? Big thanks to everyone!

From what I heard, a US Forest Service employee at the regional office in Atlanta is hard at work in a ninth-floor office with no windows creating a preliminary outline for a proposed draft of the climbing management plan. However, due to the government shutdown in October the project got off schedule and will likely not be completed until 2019.
