I used it on Saturday, with one other car. Nice short hike to The Chocolate Factory. Very nice, thank you Mike.

Awesome! Hopefully it will cut down on the number of cars parked randomly along the road.

On a related subject, I forget, what's the deal with the large muddy Motherlode parking "lot", where the grassy flat area used to be? Is there a reason it, too, couldn't be "improved" a bit with couple truckloads of gravel?

Motherload parking does not belong to the RRGCC.

Yes, but whoever it belongs to is tolerating all the cars parked in there. (Thanks!!!) Surely they would not oppose to a little bit of improvement to the spot? Or is it the case of "if we mention graveling the lot, it will bring attention to all the cars being parked there, while right now it is not on the landowner's mind, and thank God for that"?

Idle curiosity on my part, I admit. I am happy to see that progress is happening on MFRP parking, and the 'lode parking has worked for years, so it is not an urgent thing.

We place bolts on private property...it would be nice to take care of the parking at the Lode too. We use it we should take care of it!
