Coal Bank Road repairs

Post by DriskellHR »

I received a call this morning telling us that a crew with a dozer is on its way the PMRP and will begin reworking to coal bank road front to back this will include new gravel throughout the length of the road. work will commence wed 6-5-13

This will mean

ROAD CREWS HAVE RIGHT OF WAY!!
drive slow, show respect for the road crews, and please be patient because the potential for you to have to wait is significant if your timing sucks. We have a great relationship with American natural gas and we don't want to tarnish it in any way.

GRAVEL WILL BE LOOSE
Please exercise steady foot control and don't rut out the gravel before it can be packed. The dozer will do a lot of good but it still has potential to be loose.

Oh yeah, good shit people! Thanks to all that donate to make this kinda thing happen! :D

I don't deserve the thanks
Josie - is on site today and tomorrow coordinating the flow of gravel
And The whole BOD has become committed to improving our infrastructure but with this we have to work with the oil company and we are proud to have found a solution that works for all of us.
Lastly it is YOU the donors that make it possible to pay for such a project!

I just made some phone calls......

first round of road repairs are complete. please drive slowly and steadily on the road (no sudden acceleration and breaking). use low gear.

second round of repairs will be in a few weeks. more details to follow on www.rrgcc.org when we get a chance to finish editing and post it.
