Birthday party
Re: Birthday party
Does anyone know if there are any shorter routes at Muir Valley? I am afraid that some of the kids may get afraid of heights if they climb higher than the climbing gym but I still want them to have the satisfaction of reaching the anchors.
Re: Birthday party
I would recommend bringing a large bell for them to ring at the top.
Re: Birthday party
From what I understand Muir Valley sounds like they may have something like that already set up. I heard that Land Before Time Wall and Practice Wall are good but they aren't in the guidebook that I have. Does anyone have any information on those walls or know if they are in the newest guidebook?

Sally do you live under a bridge by any chance?
Skipping cruxes is a way of life.
Re: Birthday party
Yes I live under one of the bridges that the golf cart clown built in Muir Valley. I hear that Land Before Time Wall is a world class wall for trolls due to the short nature of the routes. Is this true?
Re: Birthday party
I heard some of the routes at Pisstol ridge and Chico bonito are really short and good too.

Chico Bonito is sick. New secret practice wall. 10 bolt 10ft 5.6's. Super safe... and fun.dustonian wrote:I heard some of the routes at Pistul ridge and Chico bonito are really short and good too.

I hear Roadside is currently hosting birthday parties for kids of all ages.
Re: Birthday party
Good point... you have very good chances of seeing a clown or two there as well.
