Just saw that the HMBA (Hoosier Mountain Biking Association) has a $120,000 grant for building trails at SouthWestWay park near Indy. Wonder if it's possible to get some funds like that for climbing/biking trails at the Red. Do a quick Google search for RTP Grant and several links similar to those below pop up. It looks like their are federal grants and state grants.

We currently have an RTP grant. However we need more and more importantly need grant writers. If your interested come to the meetings and get involved we always need help.

I don't know if MV has a RTP grant tho. However I don't very seriously they are unaware of the RTP grants available.
FOMV may want to clarify if they are seeking grants and if they are they may need help as well....... We all do.

After the RRGCC obtained the current grant for the PMRP, Kentucky added a requirement that non-profit organizations must partner with a governmental entity to receive RTP monies. Here is the link to Kentucky's program - http://dlg.ky.gov/grants/federal/rtp.htm
