The Springfield Gorge status is CLOSED. The owner's attorney said the waiver/permit card idea was great BUT they would only allow climbing one day out of the year! Rumor has it that they allow firefighter types to practice rescue with signed liability waivers.

There goes private land closing down again. It's too bad.
