yo. want to go to Yosemite when the weather warms up again? you must want to do the Rostrum and know how to belay. nothing else matters.

if they must want to do rostrum, wouldnt another prereq be to climb at a certain level? I want to free climb the nose and I can belay but id be a rotten partner for that proj...

Rostrum closed for those god-forsaken peregrines until Sept 1 or so usually. You're in for a long wait... better just head out there now before it gets cold. Do a couple days at the cookie and arch and you'll be ready enough.
