That would be pretty funny v1, if only Colorado wasn't a swing state and the Republican platform didn't propose to ban all biological research using stem cells, reproductive rights for victims of rape and incest, individuals' right to marry whoever they want, while at the same time eviscerating or outright eliminating funding for investment in our national infrastructure, parks and other federal lands, arts, education, and scientific & technological research. In other words, a quick decline to developing country status, with other more forward-thinking nations like China and India marching ever further ahead.

@dustonian.....Hense the rub, I can't in good conscience vote for either. I am stuck. If the weather is nice, I will just go climbing that day.

So vote for your bud Gary Johnson, at least he is less likely to start up another war and restrict citizens' individual liberties. Or Jill Stein would be great for our natural resource conservation and climbing access, rather than the mainstream parties' general policy of selling them off to the highest bidder for oil and natural gas exploitation (albeit significantly more pronounced on the Repub side).

Yeah, do the right thing. Vote for Johnson or Stein. Dustonian is right, you know.

I just did a lot of reading on Gary Johnson, and from my preliminary research, I like that guy. Definitely lines up with my own beliefs of government more than Obama or Romney.

mouth breathing neo cons are worried about their assault weapons being taken, their bibles being stolen, gay men molesting their children, poor people will continue too mooch, and a black president with an IQ higher than 98 per cent of them.

kool aid drinking libs are worried that every last tree will be cut down in the US, evangelicals will force mandatory school prayer, all non-WASP citizens will be deported somewhere, rich people will continue to mooch, and that a white neo con has to be a racist.

that pretty much sums up the platforms of both parties.

as a consensus builder/compromise believer, why doesn't obama propose a free gun for everyone who enrolls in health insurance?

the libs will never be able to change the second amendment. Hopefully, the neo-cons won't change the first
