You really don't understand why your situation is a prime example of why healthcare and insurance reform is necessary?

@dustonian.....healthcare reform was (and is still) needed. What Obama pushed through was not the type of reform needed, and maybe it is better than no reform....maybe not. Problem is, now the fight for REAL healthcare reform will stop because Dems say it is already accomplished.

no, i do. the broader argument and back to the thread, is that this is not an accomplishment to mark the last 40 years, but a missed opportunity. now, all the obvoius cases of abuse have been deleveraged, the cutting out 'cancer' victims so to speak. now theses companies have shed their liabilites and in exchange have received a government mandate, with only a few changes around the edges. i suppose you think momentum has been built for further modifications?

Obama is no bill clinton...not even close. There is a great article in last weeks Newsweek about why obama needs clinton. It basically says that the dem party has swung way left pandering to those living off of entitlements and narrow social agendas, and they have lost the centrist vision bill had for the party. Good or bad, the lefties are alienating the middle just like the righties.
