October 5-16

Post by Dana »

I'm looking for partners October 5th-through 16th. Safe and competent, would like to climb with someone similar experience: I have been climbing many years.

You might find safe on here, but competent?? You may be asking a bit much
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

Well, 'climbing many years' might be pushing it but I reckon I'm safe and competent... http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... 70#p256970

I'm safe and competent! What climbing range are you? I haven't logged in a long time and I think my old account is gone so I just create this one. I have probably more that 10 years of experience. I'm more into mountaineering but I really enjoy rock climbing. I'm training to climb orizaba a volcano in Mexico in October 24th. I've done lots of multi pitch in Potrero Chico and also a lot of trad more like alpine style though! My schedule is pretty flexible knowing in advance I can take off any day. I live in Lexington, where are you from?

Dana, You shouldn't have any problem finding partners. The RRGCC Rocktoberfest event is Oct. 5 - 7 and there will be plenty of people around to hook up with and will be staying in the area the following weeks.
