Mountain bike trail

Post by smgetrost »

I heard a few people at trailday talk about a Mtn biking trail loop in the Pmrp and but no one knew where it was really when I asked bout it. Anyone know about it? Map maybe or where it starts? Thanks -__-

I also heard the crags over there are supposed to be open now. Are they going to be published in the online guide?

Wasn't there also a big $$$ grant or loan secured a long time ago for the mtn. bike trails? It doesn't seem like there's $50k worth of trails down there... But maybe I don't know what I'm talking about either.

Clifton, don't be a douche.

smgetrost, you can go mountain bike at the old Roadside crag, just don't let Clifton catch you or you'll get your pee pee slapped.

(I would guess PM'ing RRO might net you the answer to your actual question though)

Not trying to be a douche. I haven't really kept up with it. Just curious.
I do like slapping pee pee's though....

The first mile of a five mile trail system is complete. The grant work is barely under way. The grant was for the new multi use trail in flat, rehab on shortcut(bridges, boardwalks and so on) rehab in sore hill and trail head/road work. All of that is well under way and the grant is nowhere near complete. If fOlks want to get it complete quicker, drop me a line...now that I'm just partial cripple I will be working on it a lot more. Video, pics and maps coming soon. I'll email ya info fir now if you drop me a line.

it takes nearly $50,000 to operate a premier climbing destination in the Red River Gorge for about 6 months. i think this money went to evict the nesting birds from the kiosk at Sore Heel Hollow. ok. everybody's having fun now.
