Audio Books

Post by Cleveland »

I'm looking for a good audio book to listen to on vacation. Maybe an adventure book or a good autobiography, does anyone have any suggestions?

A walk in the woods - Bill Bryson
Outliers - Malcolm Gladwell

Maybe some podcasts like Ted, Radiolab, etc...?

I'm good on podcasts, dirtbag diaries is where it's at! But a walk in the woods sounds good. Thanks.

Non-Fiction
The Solace of Open Spaces by Ehrlich
Me Talk Pretty One Day by Sedaris
The Liars' Club by Karr
This Boy's Life by Wolff
a long way gone by Beah

Fiction
Three Day Road by Boyden
The Things They Carried by O'Brien
The Road by McCarthy
Beloved by Morrison
The Stand by King (the Gunslinger is pretty darn good, but The Stand is his best work in my opinion). Three Day Road or Beloved makes the Stand read like Moo Baa LaLaLa by Boynton though.
Blood Meridian by McCarthy is also great and rivals Three Day Road or Beloved.
