I'm there with ya Drew. In fact, the only reason I continuously fall off of routes at the Darkside is so that I have an excuse to go back and hang halfway up the wall , perfect vantage point to watch guys try this thing.

zero? I think it's been largely dismissed as a contrivance at this point... unfortunate, such a beautiful line.

Well, talking on the trail one day he seemed pretty bummed after having spent so much time on the contrivo beta, and then pretty much left town when a little rain settled in (in Kentucky of all places?!)... ironic since last winter turned out to be one of the driest, most perfect seasons for climbing I've ever experienced anywhere!

Anyway... what do I know, I'm just an aging 5.12 chufflord. It'll probably still wind up being a 5-star line even if it is a bit easier than he and Arc'teryx were hoping. Maybe Weaver should get back on it now that he's back in these parts...

c2c..he means he'll have extra money to buy more cams so we can bolt more routes....he just has a hard time expressing it that way.
