As far as I know you do not need permission to fix a bad bolt.or bad bolts.. do you know something I don't.. you do need permission to bolt a new route on forest service lands and that ain't going to happen anytime soon

Individuals do not need permission to perform maintenance on existing fixed protection. However, you may need some sort of approval for organized "group action" in the DBNF, that would be Bill's department.

Can you chime in here Bill how big a group we can have.. can we just use small team with no permission

We still haven't finished the lode, maybe we can finish that first. My dad and I will be there tomorrow afternoon if anyone wants to help.
