Re: Help the site out
i just commented on every route i have solid memories of...and i kind of like the snarky comment. although, i would recommend changing it up. nice, nice, BOOM -- hit em with the snark...keep us on our toes. anyhow, thanks to all those that have a hand in maintaining this site. it provides endless hours of enjoyment for me and a link to a place that i don't get to be as often as i'd like.

Dustin, thanks for the rainbow shitting unicorn... you are really tugging on my heart strings!
Meadows, I don't necessarily prefer the unicorn over the teddy bear... really, either one works for me.

Good one man.
Thanks Nik. That must've taken awhile.
THB, the popup message isn't really someone talking. It's just some code that pops up a message stored in a database when someone submits a comment. Don't let it hurt your feelings.

No way!! Really?? Ray, I think you're trying to pull the wool over my eyes... I thought you had little elves sitting behind computers waiting for someone to comment on a route so that they could reply with some smart-ass remark...
So, Ray, what do you do with all of those elves and unicorns and teddy bears??

Re: Help the site out
you could be for sure to get more input if you didn't allow someone to tick off a send unless they first rated and graded the route

the first intelligent thing anyone's said on this forum in a long time.
well done.
well done.
Re: Help the site out
This is also very true. Although if you consider some popular routes that might not always work. Consider Sunshine. It currently has 25 comments, which is probably plenty. It has 457 sends. Do we really need an additional 422 comments?heavyc wrote:you could be for sure to get more input if you didn't allow someone to tick off a send unless they first rated and graded the route

Re: Help the site out
He was talking about voting on quality and difficulty I think Josephine. Any input like that is great. It doesn't have to be comments all the time.
I'm not sure I want to force it on people though. I think I'd rather just remind everyone once in awhile like this.
