I may be obnoxious with my hammock and kids, but I am at least not gumbie enough to hang my hammock in the fall line.

The kid that got life threatening injuries overseas recently was over 30ft away from the wall. The fall line is anywhere downhill or near the wall. It only takes one impact to shoot the rock outward.

I am sure there hundreds of ways we put ourselves at much greater risk on a daily basis.
But I think the best you can is take reasonable precautions and hope it doesn't happen to you.
