Not too long ago I was heading to Jungle Beat early in the morning and passed by the Fuzzy area. No lie, there were 6 cocoons hanging and a fire going between the wall and cocoons. I passed through before any aliens hatched but it was scary.

Not to say I approve of hammocks at the crag, but I do occasionally camp in one and have to say I get much better sleep in a hammock than in a tent. Very comfy indeed.
Re: Looking to chill this weekend
dear 'climbers"..leave the idiot beds at camp. do not, i repeat, DO NOT bring this crap to the crags. it doesnt make you cool, just an inconsiderate dolt.

Well, I guess I am "that guy" I own one and use it if I have my boys with me as they will nap in it. So, that is a double party foul against me... kids and a hammock.

Lying down sideways creates a bigger target for those terminal velocity rocks. If people only knew how many rocks are up top ready to cut loose. It blows my mind every time I top out something that rarely gets topped out. Huge rocks just teetering at the edge.
