Bedtime for Bozo Beta

Post by MarkM »

I am getting ready to climb bedtime for Bonzo tommorrow. I was wondering of anyone knew if it would be possible to do in 1 pitch with a 70m rope. I was mostly worried about the decent. My other question is if I do climb it multi pitch are there two sets of anchors, 1st and 2nd pitch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not advisable to do in one pitch. It's two separate pitches around the corner from one another on a huge ledge in a large chimney/hallway. Not you're typical multi-pitch route. Two sets of anchors. You can get the ground in one rappel with a 60m rope from the second set of anchors. Have fun.

Good do it and have a good time. It is very straight forward and good climbing.

You can also walk down from the top to the ledge where pitch on ends and rap right back to your gear at the base. This helps to stop the massive rope scars on the top of the climb. To do this walk to the climbers left and you will find a decent trail.

Have fun!

Is there a way to hike to the top without doing either pitch?

Found the trail up from the first pitch. Took six people up there at three in the morning and camped on top this weekend
