Word on the trail is that most crags in the red are condensating. I'm looking for a good crag to go tomorrow morning, that will have dry rock, preferably one that will not be crowded. I don't care if it's a super old trad crag or a super new sport crag. Any info would be appreciated.
The ones I can think of are:
Fortress
Eastern Sky Bridge
Lady Slipper
ROADSIDE!!!
Condensation
Re: Condensation
This post can't work, Cleveland. As soon as someone replies, any crag they direct you to will be crowded tomorrow.

Re: Condensation
I don't think I've ever seen a crowded trad crag. Only geezers go there. The gym is usually dry.
No chalkbag since 1995.
Re: Condensation
I surely love Climb Time man but this time of year the gym is for training.kato wrote:I don't think I've ever seen a crowded trad crag. Only geezers go there. The gym is usually dry.

Not sure if being helpful or if hoarding crag for himself. Leaning towards latter.pigsteak wrote:I am here. it sucks right now.
Re: Condensation
pretty moist today...travel at your own peril.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
Re: Condensation
Definitely avoid anything north-facing or licheny. Orange rock is driest.
Re: Condensation
There were plenty of dry routes on Saturday, but pigsteak made me hang his quickdraws on the only obviously wet one to check whether or not he had a chance for some points.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening
