Now... who are you?
The 10 Climbing Personalities
Re: The 10 Climbing Personalities
Definitely a hybrid of Elite and Couch Crusher.
Re: The 10 Climbing Personalities
Waiting for doctor hoctor to chime in about Andrew.
Re: The 10 Climbing Personalities
Well, it is Thursday.
Re: The 10 Climbing Personalities
I've been sick 3 days this week, and I'm getting old. I could still probably climb Paradise Lost though because that shit is totally soft if you use the totally ghey rest.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening

I've been studying Andrew the past few weeks (not to his knowledge of course) and I have come to the conclusion that Andrew does not fit any of these categories. All these people climb and Andrew does not he just sport rappells now, getting pretty damn good too
Skipping cruxes is a way of life.

What kind am I? The kind too lazy to read that whole article.
Re: The 10 Climbing Personalities
Funny list, but it missed a lot of more subtle characters; different subsets of gumbies, trustafarians, brahs, and such. The fact that it said that "Sport climbing elitists talk down on stick clips and fixed draws" was a bit clueless, too, since it would be mostly weakmo trad elitists who decry those things.
I liked the comment about gearheads spending more time thinking about fall factors and kilonewtons than about the actual physiology of climbing movement, though.
