Old rope can be made into a mosquito screen, think "beaded doorway curtain". On a patio entrance, or on a camper van type.
Old shoes are hard to find a use for tho, if you cut off everything but the heel it could be a door stop. cut out the tongue and youv got a smelly page holder for your guide book. flower pot??
suggested uses for old dog bones??? iv got several laying around waiting for a cause but have yet to use them...
